I know we get dressed up for church every Sunday but there's something special about Easter Sunday! Everyone seems to take a little extra time when getting ready! It's so fun to walk into church and see all the little girls in their pretty new spring dresses! It's fun to be a mom and go out to find a pretty new spring dress for my daughter! Unfortunately, boys are just not that exciting to buy for! It's a good excuse to get new church shoes though! Ha ha!
But Easter wasn't just Easter for us this year - we spent most of the day celebrating Emily's 11th birthday! Eleven years ago on a beautiful Easter Sunday (yes, it was Easter Sunday) we were blessed with a gorgeous, healthy baby girl! Our only little girl who we cherish so much! We are so blessed to have her in our lives!
