We Love You, Conrad! Oh, Yes We Do . . .

The second and third weekends of July brought the much anticipated Bye Bye Birdie shows! Em and the rest of the cast worked really hard to make this the fabulous show it was! We had such a good time! It was quite a family affair! Besides Em in the cast, Mom and Calvin worked backstage (Mom for 5 shows, Cal for all 6 shows), Dad helped with set design and building and Matt tolerated all the long nights during tech week! The opening show brought much excitement, there were tornado warnings in the middle of the show so we heard the tornado sirens and at the same time Em lost a tooth! If you know Em you know that is quite a feat for her! She's proud to say she has now lost 9 teeth! We have a tradition with Prairie Playhouse that includes cinnamon bears, one of those bears was the culprit with the tooth! It didn't manage to stop her from eating them though! The kids were so awesome to work with! They did a fantastic job! I hope everyone enjoys the pictures!
