June 13, 2009 was a big day for Matt! He turned 8! But not only was it his birthday but he was able to get baptized the same day! Calvin and Emily played a piano/flute duet for the baptism but really it was all about Matt! We are all really proud of Matt and his choice to get baptized!
After the baptism, we had family and friends over for some hamburgers and hot dogs and some fun in the summer sun! It was great to spend time with everyone as we celebrated Matt's big day! Happy Birthday, Matthew! And Happy Birthday, Dad Mickelson (we didn't forget you)!
