Calvin finished up his Cycling Merit Badge on Saturday! The final step was completing a 50-mile bike ride. He had already completed (2) 10-milers and (2) 25-milers. Ken called his dad to see if he would be interested in going along. So off the 3 boys went at about 9:30 in the morning. They arrived home shortly before 2 in the afternoon. Everyone seems to have survived. They had a great time despite the lack of smiles at the halfway point. It was a wonderful experience for Calvin to go with not only his dad but his grandpa too!

Holy Crap! That is really far!! I think that the Swimming merit badge was much easier for Brandon.
